Wary Meyers soaps are handmade in small batches by couple John & Linda in their studio in Maine. The couple formerly worked as an interior design duo in Brooklyn, outfitting apartments in their signature bohemian-graphic style. They then moved to Maine and transformed part of their home into a soap making studio.
Their soaps have a strong visual impact, they find their design ideas from late 60's era pop design as you will see from the bring colours and stripes. Speaking of stripes... each colour stripe is painstakingly hand poured separately.
Their design is one of the reasons I love them so much, I also love that they are made with a 100% pure vegetable base, no parabens, phthalates or SLS (see our Go Green in 2017 Blog to find out how bad these are), and absolutely no animal testing. I also adore the package which is minimal and made from recycled cardboard - just enough to get to you safely!!!
I'm not the only one who raves about them. They have been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Domino Magazine ....and the Queen herself loves them, that is Queen Oprah of course!!!
Not only are they visually pleasing, they describe their Sea Air Soap as
"enlivened with the scent of swinging open the cabin doors of your yacht at Cap d'Antibes"
