Kallaloo Afro-Caribbean Dance Festival for Black History Month in Ottawa

Join us at the community market for Black History Month in Ottawa.

Time: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Location: Hintonburg Community Center; 1064 Wellington St, Ottawa

 

 

The Cultural Arts Studio - School of Afro-Caribbean Dance is once again organizing a fun, family friendly Dance Festival. This event will include dance workshops, Caribbean Drummers and a Community Market.

This event is open to all levels of dance and all age groups, come and shake your hips to Afro-Salsa and stomp your feet to Afro-Roots dance. The event will be capped by an energizing Drum Circle by the Afro-Caribbean Drummers from Trinidad.

Of course Malachite + Elephant will participate in the community vendor space where we will be showcasing our best sellers such as Haitian Black Castor Oil (Maskriti), some new product lines including Plant Apothecary...and we will be launching our very own line of all-natural bath bombs with a very special one made especially for all you dancers called "Got my Mojo Mojito".
