I was a vendor at Ottawa's first Girl Getter Pop-Up Shop and both of my staple beauty products SOLD OUT!!! I usually get the same two reactions to my display of Haitian Black Castor Oil, those who love and it swear by it and those who haven't heard of it and all of its benefits.
I've been selling Kreyol Essence's Haitian Black Castor Oil since M+E was launched four years ago. I added their Moringa oil to the lineup last year, this product was also new to me but it quickly became a favorite. Here's why.
I use it as a daily night time serum after I remove my makeup (on the few days I wear any) or wash my face. The oil has a light texture that makes it easy to apply and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I apply a single drop (a little goes a long way) on my face and lips and wake up in the morning with very soft and hydrated skin.

Where do I start; it has so many uses. I have been using Kreyol Essence's HBCO religiously for the past 4 years (my son has too - maybe I'll get a blog out of him). I use it mainly on my hair and scalp but also on my skin. I tend to have extremely dry skin on my hands and legs and this oil keeps the dryness and associated itchiness away.
On my hair, I use a very small quantity that I rub in my hands and scrunch through the ends. I also like to use it as a scalp massage mixed with other oils to lighten it up a little.
I recently stumbled on this review by the Coco Gawdess on YouTube, she shares her love of Kreyol Essence's Moringa and Haitian Black Castor oil and how she uses them... have a look, she's hilarious!!!
