Balm & Co. came to life in 2014 with products that are created naturally and in small batches with the intention of bringing holistic, planet + people friendly skincare to those near and far. All of their goodies are vegan, handmade with fair trade ingredients and are 100% all natural. The goods they create do not contain artificial ingredients or GMOs. They are also free of fillers, parabens, alcohol, animal products, artificial fragrances, sulfates, artificial colors, and unnatural preservatives. They are huge believers in the healing properties of essential oils. Also, Balm & Co. does not test on animals and all products are 100% cruelty free. The oils used in their products are organic, cold pressed or steam distilled. Balm & Co. works hard to find only the highest quality ingredients.
Founder:
Alexandra Elle is a writer and creative living in the Washington, DC metro area with her husband and daughter. In her pre-teen years, writing came into her life by way of therapy and the exploration of healing. Many years later, Alex's voice and words are being shared poetically in the form of self-love and self-care. Her passion for storytelling, poetry, and narrative writing are infused with life lessons, self-celebration, and building community through reading, writing, and language.
Alex is also the founder of 'Another Sunday' in 2015 as a creative outlet to celebrate her voyage through entrepreneurship, motherhood, self-care practices and everything else in between.
